Rick is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Wealth Advisory Group, Inc.

In 1993 Rick had a vision of helping clients achieve their financial goals without conflicts of interest and founded Wealth Advisory Group, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), to realize this goal. Concerned that Americans were not prepared for a successful retirement and generally had no “roadmap” for their future, he wanted to help people simplify the planning process and achieve financial success. Through Wealth Advisory Group, Rick has continued to serve business owners, retirement plan sponsors and families helping them reach successful outcomes.

In addition to setting and executing the strategic direction of the firm, Rick’s duties include serving on the firm’s Investment Committee and working directly with the firm’s clients. He has fiduciary responsibilities, alongside plan trustees, for the qualified retirement plans of corporate clients and oversees the preparation of Fiduciary Investment Reviews, B3 Benchmarking Analysis and Investment Scorecards. Rick also takes an active role in creating and executing financial planning for individual clients including evaluating situations, projecting cash flows and implementing and monitor solutions.

Rick graduated cum laude from Dickinson College with BA in Economics and English in 1981, where he also competed at the intercollegiate level in Soccer and Tennis. He holds the designations of Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) & Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He holds a Series 7 & Series 65 securities license and is the supervisory representative for the firm with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Rick lives in Newtown Square with his wife Jeanne and has four children. He enjoys sailing and boating at his home on the Sassafras and playing competitive tennis and golf.
